The terms that apply to this website and to orders placed with Nurstones.
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of nurstones.com and to the sale of natural stone by Nurstones (“we”, “us”) to buyers (“you”).
Effective date: 13 October 2026. By placing an order or using this website you agree to these terms. If a signed contract or written quotation says something different, the contract or quotation prevails.
2. About Natural Stone
Natural stone is a natural material. Differences in colour, pattern, texture and veining between samples, photos and delivered stone are normal and are not defects.
Small pores, tiny cracks, mineral lines and slight differences in size or thickness are also natural characteristics. Photos on this website are for illustration.
3. Products and Specifications
Product descriptions, sizes, finishes and other specifications on this website are for general information. The specifications in your written quotation or proforma invoice apply to your order.
We may update products and specifications without notice. Ask for a sample before a large order.
4. Quotations and Orders
A quotation is an offer based on the details you gave us. An order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing and the 60% deposit is received.
Please check the stone, size, finish, quantity and destination in your quotation carefully. Changes after production has started may not be possible.
5. Prices and Payment
Unless your written quotation says otherwise, payment is 60% deposit to start production and 40% balance as stated in the proforma invoice. Prices and currency are stated in the quotation or proforma invoice.
Bank charges and taxes outside Indonesia are your responsibility unless the quotation says otherwise.
6. Delivery and Shipping Terms
Our standard shipping term is FOB (Free On Board) at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, Indonesia. On request we can quote CFR (Cost and Freight) or CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) to a named destination port. The term, the destination port and the estimated production and shipping times are stated in your quotation. Dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Under FOB, CFR and CIF, risk passes to you once the goods are on board the vessel at Tanjung Priok. Under FOB you arrange and pay ocean freight and marine insurance. Under CFR we pay ocean freight and you arrange insurance. Under CIF we pay ocean freight and arrange marine insurance as stated in the quotation.
7. Export Documents
We prepare the export documents stated in your quotation, such as the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate and lab analysis where applicable.
You are responsible for import duties, taxes, licences and customs clearance in the destination country.
8. Inspection and Claims
Please inspect the goods when they arrive. If you find a problem, notify us in writing within the period stated in your quotation or contract, and include photos, the pack or crate numbers and the packing list.
Some chipping or breakage in sea transport can occur. Any allowed tolerance and the way we handle valid claims are agreed in your contract or quotation. Claims made late, or without evidence, may not be accepted.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, weather, strikes, port closures, shipping-line changes, war, government action or pandemic restrictions.
10. Website Use and Intellectual Property
The text, images and design of this website belong to Nurstones or its licensors. Do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Do not misuse the website, try to break its security or send harmful code.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or project delay. Our liability for any order is limited to the value of the goods concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to settle any dispute through good-faith discussion.
